Hopefully this is handy to others. I needed 5 seconds of black to ease in my abrupt theater intro video, 1 & 2 seconds of black for some transitions, and 5 minutes of black to wander over and turn off the projector before the Kodi screen appears.
The files are 1080p @ 23.976fps to match most films. For what it's worth, they were encoded x264, 3Mbps, Main@5.1.
