Getting Started

Question

Hey all!

I'm new to both Kodi and CinemaVision and had a total n00b question. How do you even start CinemaVision? I tried right-clicking on the movie that I'm playing in Kodi, hoping to get a "CinemaVision" option on the menu (similar to what I saw in the tutorial on cinemavision.tv's home page), but no such option was available.

Am I doing something wrong? If it makes any difference, I'm in Kodi 17.3. Thank you!

Thanks a bunch!

ak

Get the CinemaVision Launcher plugin (under contextual in official repository; in fact if you add it first; it automatically installs the main CinemaVision plugin as well).  That pretty much adds that right contextual menu option to every skin, even if they don't directly support the Cinemavision plugin.  I don't know if I'm allowed to offer modified Confluence skins on here or not, but I've got versions for both 15.2 Isengard and the current 17.3 Krypton to get rid of the "busy/working" indicators as well.  I think the new Estuary skin for Krypton supports Cinemavision by default, but that may only mean it gets rid of the busy indicators, not necessarily providing a context menu start for it.  I prefer Confluence over Estuary anyway.
