Storage Location

Question

I would like to store my files that will be used in CinemaVision to a computer that I have running 24/7 with 10TBs of media on it. Is there anyway to access a UPnP server that is on my local network? I am pretty new to getting networking stuff to work so any help will be greatly appreciated.

I am using a FireTV box in our theater room. I pull all of our media through PlexKodiConnect and Kodi. I noticed there is SMB and NFS option under the CinemaVision options to where we can store the files needed, but I do not see a UPnP option. The FireTV doesn't have much room left on it.

I pretty much want to make a file folder on my media computer that says CinemaVision and have Kodi/Program Addon point to that destination.

Hey there! The options available to you there are controlled by Kodi. As far as I'm aware, UPnP cannot be used as a source that gets scraped into the Kodi library. Most folks use SMB or NFS shares, and then add those shares into Kodi as a source.
