itunes Trailer buffering always at the same scene

I have a little problem and two questions:

1. I play 3 itunes Trailer after a Trivia, Commercial and Icecream Block, but when the 3 itunes Trailer begin to start, every Trailer buffer at the same scene, for example: Star wars Trailer buffer every time when the Millenium Falcon is flying at Min. 0:32 (only an example).

I read that the trailer begin to load when CV starts so they don´t need to buffering. Is there a possibility to enable this function or to stop buffering or to activate something in Kodi? Youtube Trailer not buffering in my system.

2. Is it possible to switch the language in itunes Trailer from english to german?

Hey there! We need a little more information from you to troubleshoot the buffering issue. Please follow this guide to upload your debug log for us to review:

As far as German language content, unfortunately no. We do have plans to try and make scrapers for several German trailer websites, though. If you have suggestions, please let us know what you'd like to see and I'll add them to our development list.

That sounds very good. This Addon is absolute amazing. For the first time it´s great if there is no buffering.

Here is the Log. Hope you can Help. I start CV and skipp to the itunes Trailer. Then I close Kodi after Playing the Trailer. I close kodi after the 3.rd Trailer  is buffering. Hope this helps.

I Tested it more and I can say: Every itunes Trailer is buffering within the first 5  seconds.  After that the trailer is running without problems till the next trailer is running. Any ideas how to fix the Problem?

Dear all,

I'm facing exactly the same itunes trailer buffering issue, I can't figure out why. Moreveover, I have no issue streaming 1080p TV and plays trailer from youtube with the dedicated icon menu in the librairy. 

I can't understand why I'm having this issue.

I'm looking forward this issue to be investigated and fixed.

I've been doing some testings and my guess is that it comes from Itunes ...

I tested several trailer addon Itunes based, and they all buffers whereas youtube for example never buffers...

I tell this as maybe a lead to investigate...

I think you're both right. This might be an iTunes issue that we can't necessarily fix. Either way, it's in our developers hands. Worst case, we'll make a scraper that's not iTunes to bypass the shenanigans.

I have the same problem and iTunes Trailers stop and buffer after a few seconds.

I only use Cinemavision because of the trailers.

Is there any fix coming or an alternative solution?

We're working on a few things to resolve and work around this. New scrapers are coming.

I haven't been able to reproduce the iTunes issue on my setup, however, I have been playing around with a makeshift alternative.  I know that playlists aren't technically supported, but what I've found is if you add a video module in your sequence and link it to a CVURL that points to a YouTube playlist, it will play the first video in that playlist.  It won't play anything else, but if the playlist is updated and a new video is first, it will play that video.

There is, but it's not yet fully featured. You can download trailers and put them in your %CVROOT%\Trailers directory and then edit your Trailers Module so that only the CV Trailers Folder scraper is enabled. When you're using this scraper, you cannot match your feature genre or rating, as we don't currently scrape that data in. We will be adding that functionality soon, though.

I'm coming back to you regarding this topic

Still have this buffering issue with Itunes since now a long time.

The only workaround I found is to default the trailer quality to 480p in order to minimize the buffering but you can imagine that I can't be satisfied with this because a video with that quality on a very big screen really looks poor ...

I can see in the latest december release that you have integrated TMDB as a new trailer scraper, which I think is a smart move as this one is already integrated with Kodi.

 

When do you think this release will be delivered as stable ? Can you update us ?
