Support for Kodi 18

Hi everybody!

So, I signed up for Cinemavision about a week ago (missed the Black Friday special with a few days, d'oh!) and couldn't understand why it wouldn't work until I realized it might not support Kodi 18. Installed Kodi 17.6 on the PC and it worked fine. Since I'm primarily watching stuff on my Nvidia Shield, Kodi 18 is a major improvement, so I was kinda hoping we could see support for Kodi 18 sooner rather than later.

Hey there! In an effort to not waste what supporters give us on development for a changing platform, we don't start developing for new versions of Kodi until they're in beta. I'm pretty sure that's right around the corner, though. I'll see if I can get a commitment from our sources inside of Kodi for when they think the beta might go live.

Does anyone know If there is any update on this? Kodi 18 is now in beta but CV not working with it. Is there a plan to make these two compatible? Thanks!

I am currently using CinemaVision development releases with Kodi 18 Beta 3. There are a few bugs, but it mostly works well for me on the NVIDIA Shield TV.
