NanoLeaf Lighting Control

Question

I received some nanoleaf panels this Christmas and am looking to automate them as part of my cinemavision. I am able to control the lights using python but the problem is the code to interface to the lights is written in python 3.

it looks like the cinemavision automation action control will only spawn a python2 interpreter. Is there a way to use python3 for some scripts and python2 for others? I am utilizing this interface https://github.com/software-2/nanoleaf

Thank you for a great piece of software.
