Red curtain Video bumper community project

Recommended Posts

We decided to split this topic off from the filmwall post made in the Video Bumpers thread. Just to catch everyone up here is a summary...

Take a look at these see if there are any you like. If it's a greenscreen I can put anything you want in there using After Effects or change how long it runs as well.

I know these are expensive maybe we can pool together if there is one we all like. And if it's a green screen one, and one of us edits it that should satisfy the license so we can host it here for everyone.

Also found this site.

Maybe they are cheaper there. I'll see if I can grab one if it's not to expensive.

Found the same items on shutterstock but they are double the price, pond5 is way cheaper.

My favorite so far is this one, spotlight effect is pretty cool.

Not sure how well it would work but I found this spotlight on youtube you might be able to put in there and key...

Just got an email from Motion Graphics on a spotlight request. I used the one red curtain video you said you liked as an example, and told him exactly how we wanted to use it. He said it would be on the site in a few days. I'll let you know when I have it.

Did not yet have the time to play with adobe after effects and I think since i'm a n00b when it comes to after effect it's faster (and better) to just buy one.

This would be great. Does he create a open and closing version?

probably, if you want to wait a few weeks we can see if anyone else would be willing to chip in for a community Red Curtain. I'd be up for chipping in when your ready to pull the pin.

Well see about that, it's not the end of the world to help community with a few bucks.

Anyway, which version do you prefer or think would be better? I think a blue version would also be great.
