Noovie Arcade

If you happen to goto a theater chain that has pre show entertainment you might have heard of Noovie, its the big guys advertising network.   They have an app called noovie arcade that uses augmented reality to play a game on your phone before the show begins....I’m not sure what sorts data they are getting from it, maybe time of day and what movie your seeing how knows, but I digress

i was poking around cause I wanted to see if there was any sort of home spun noovie network for us and while there wasn’t, they did have a graphic you could use to test out the arcade function at home

download the noovie arcade app from your App Store then click the link above launch your app and point it at the screen  and play the game.   It only lasts 60 seconds but it’s a fun distraction

 

so it got me thinking we just need some bumpers made that tell our viewers to fire up the arcade, then a video that just shows the image for 60 seconds with some background music  and we got one step closer to that real theater experience.

 

now I’m just wondering if the next time I goto the theater if I snap an image of the real noovie arcade screen shown on the big screen if it will play at home that way we could offer multiple chances to play but different games.

this way in the CV sequence we could do maybe 2 mins of trivia, a noovie arcade game, 2 more minutes of trivia, another game, then on to trailers and the movie
