Last known stable version of Kodi

Question

OK. So finally attempted to move over to CV from CE after pulling my hair out lately.  Everyone said all was good and this was the replacement for CE.

So paid for a sub, downloaded a few things I didnt already have, watched the tutorials, and BAM, my first run of the script crashed after the first run of trivia.  Ive gotten a black screen each and every time I tried to reboot and rerun the script since.

Looking through here, it appears 18.x is no good for CV.  So, who is running what with stable operation?

TIA,

Sean

Great Falls,  Montana

I think there's some confusion on what the latest version is.  Did you install your CV from the official KODI repository or use a file hosted on this site?

The latest should be on the repository, but you can try to install this one as well and see if it works for you.

I used the Kodi repository.  I was referring to the conversations in the forum that led me to believe the latest versions of Kodi weren't playing will with CV, and some had mentioned going back to kodi 17. The CV revision on the repo is 1.1.1.

That's kinda where the confusion lies.  There is more than one version of 1.1.1.  1.1.1.a10 and 1.1.1.a12 just to name a couple.
