CV and SmartThings help

Question

I'm trying to follow the tutorial, but I'm stuck at "Install the Kodi/XBMC Callback Endpoint for Light Control SmartApp within the SmartThings IDE". When I click the link for that, the link is dead. Where can I find the Smart app?

That's what I'm trying to do, but it's not working for me. I put the 2 codes in SmartThings IDE, but they don't show up in the SmartThings app on my Android. Is this what it should look like?

I finally got it all set up, and it was working last night. Tonight it isn't working, and I get this message when I run the test. Any idea what's wrong?

You should blank out your token as that can be used from anywhere by anyone.  Looks like a permissions issue of some kind.

Would that be the Kodi permissions, or SmartThings?

Looked like a SmartThings permission issue.  Maybe your hub was just down?

That was the first thing I checked, and it was up and running.

Can you repost your screenshot, but bank out your tokens?

I ended up deleting everything, and starting from scratch. When I do the test, the lights do what they are supposed to, but the test results screen gets frozen, and I have to reboot Kodi to get out of that screen. Is that normal? Also, when I click on a movie in Kodi, the lights don't always turn off, but I hit pause, and they do come on. If I hit play after pause, they will turn off. What is the name of the Event I should be using, to make the lights turn off when I click on a movie? Is that different than hitting the actual Play button? I'm using "on Playback Started", so should the lights turn off when I click on the movie, or is that only for clicking on the Play button?

I'll check out my CVaction files this evening and post them up for your review.  It's been a while since I've messed with it since it's working without issues for me.

Well, that kinda sucks.  The guide that was on this forum reports that I don't have permissions to view it anymore.  All my action files just link to the SmartThings API, so all the settings are in the callback endpoint.  If it's failing, I would suspect a problem with your token.

Below is an example of my featurelights.cvaction file.  With my token redacted of course.

https://graph-na02-useast1.api.smartthings.com:443/api/token/[redacted]/smartapps/installations/[redacted]/play

Is this the guide you are using?
