cinemavision Sequences will not play kodi v18.6

Question

I have been a proud user of cinemavision for years but recently, since moving into kodi v18 cinemavision stopped working, I just get a completely black screen with nothing clickable or showing. I get this when I use the cinemavision launcher context menu command AND que editor. I have installed and reinstalled the latest version in the official kodi repository, set up all settings correctly, desabled all trailer scrapers except kodiDB refreshed content. When I create a new sequence it finds all my video bumper files etc and allows me to set them. Everything works as it should EXCEPT when I play the sequence or launch the sequence with or without a feature set. I'm using windows 7 AMD gaming PC with Kodi v18.6.

Is there a fix? or anything I can do to fix this?

I set AUTO SELECT to ON, setting prefferences to "D or ANY makes no difference. (There used to be a way to make sequence active but now i pressume you just turn on auto select n save)

I would be so happy if you could help me to resolve this. I am very IT literate and am not used to being defeated in this way :(

Kindest regards
