Picture/Slideshow Module

Recommended Posts

It would be great to have a module for static images, one that will play all the images in a given folder with the same transitions as the trivia, and perhaps music as well. I found some logos on demo-world I'd like to use but can't find a way to do so.

The Trivia Module will do this just fine! All you have to do is feed it picture files. If they aren't Q&A files, it treats them as Singles, and mixes them in randomly in the same way that Blockbusters are mixed in. Just create a directory for them in Trivia Slides, and toss the files there.

Will they stop playing after all of them are displayed? And I don't remember any source option to define the files seperate from the trivia.

The add-on queues up enough "trivia" to fill the amount of time you tell the add-on to play trivia for. There's currently not a source option, so it will require a little bit of manual work, and it will be a situation where it's one or the other, or it's mixed between trivia and picture slideshow. One of the things we're going to work on in round two of development is trivia playlists, so you can specify exactly what you want to play and just point to the playlist file.
