Any way to share "trailers watched statuses" between kodi installations?

Question

Is there a file I could somehow point to a network location instead of local so both kodi installations in my house could share trailers watched status?

At the moment whenever i switch between rooms in my house i tend to get the same trailers playing that i have just seen recently in the other room.

Thanks so much if anybody can help find a solution to this :)

Anyone have any ideas for this?

I keep seeing the same trailers when i watch movies in my bedroom  and living room...

...have tried playing around with path substitution for wathcedstatus.db and/ for the entire cinemavision addon data folder, but it doesn't work so far....

if anybody has a creative solution for this issue i would super appreciate it :)

It would have to be a shared database that all the systems would have to have access to.  I know you can do the KODI database that way, but I'm not sure if there's a way to make CV do it.

@OTA is correct and wathcedstatus.db is the database that would need to be shared.  I've added working on this to my to-do list.

Trakt.TV works for streamed trailers?  I thought it was just for features.

I could be wrong, but I don't think Trakt.TV is set up to track CV's watcdedstatus.db.  It could possibly be set up to include it though.

Thanks so much! Looking fwd to it :)

I tried the ugly fix of using path substitution in Kodi to point  to a copy of wathcedstatus.db on the same NAS that all my media is on, but Cinemavision seems to ignore this substitutuion. I know that .db files aren't meant to play nice with path substitution anyway.

I also tried using path substitution for the entire CV addon data folder. This actually worked for some files  (notably settings.xml) but the remote copy of wathcedstatus.db remained untouched.
