how to get rid of "loading"

Recommended Posts

I'm pretty sure this is done by Kodi, not by CV.  I remember reading something, somewhere to request Kodi developers provide an option to hide that.

Its mentioned at the first post in the kodi forum.

I know for a fact that the Aeon Nox Silvo version has the "fix" already included. Other skins maybe as well.

How to Suppress the Busy Dialog
We recommend that you add the option to suppress the busy dialog to your skins DialogBusy.xml file. To suppress the busy dialog when CinemaVision is running, add the following to the DialogBusy.xml file:

<visible>IsEmpty(Window(Home).Property(script.cinemavision.running))</visible>

damn, sounds nice. ok im sorry, but is it an existing xml (then where is it located) and is it just to put in that string anywhere in that xml? :))

(im a code n00b)

I'm using the default Confluence skin, so it's located under C:\Program Files\Kodi\addons\skin.confluence\720P.  If you are using a different skin, I would presume that the skin directory would reflect the skin you are using.

Can i place it anywhere under <window> ? (the string)

<visible>IsEmpty(Window(Home).Property(script.cinemavision.running))</visible>

or should i place it before <window>?  just right at the start?

Ok, there was already a visible tag. i put the string in and i dont see the progress bars anymore.

THough i still se a brief "pause" icon in between movies in the cinema vision script. is there anything i can do to get rid of the pause icon?

I use the Eminence skin which is better at hiding the loading graphics..... I use Kodi on an ATV1200 which I have put Ember on. I will have a look to see if I can find the file people are talking about above to edit that file..... it would be nice to get rid of loading graphics completely.

I cant find the file to edit. I understand it's easy on a PC with Kodi on but does anyone know how to access this file on and Androix/linux box running Kodi?

I have installed the Silvo version and cant find the setting to turn it off... at the moment it is still there and the option to turn it off doesn't seem to be under the mod skin settings??

Does anyone know of any other skins that address this issue?

The file in question is hidden for me when looking on my network so I'm looking for a skin solution.  Aeon Nox Silvo was suggested above but I still get the loading issue with it.

Any thoughts appreciated :)

Another question, this fix works great during intros, but it also turns off the info screen when I pause the movie.  Is there any way I can have it off during trailers but have the info back on during the movie?  Thanks!

Any new info on this. I put the string, but it messed things up (maybe I entered it in the wrong place...there hasn't been a comment yet on WHERE to put it). Also, I too have and issue with the hidden info screen. I am using a modded aeon mq5 for Jarvis.
