backing up kodi

Question

hi,

I set my content path to a folder inside my userdata folder & I do this because I want to back it up with kodi to share with friends & family, I use total installers maintenance tool to convert paths to special names & to backup but when I reinstall it on another device cinemavision no longer works on either device, is there a way I can fix this or an alternative way I can achieve what I want to do?

No idea how I missed responding to this. Sorry about that. I'm not really sure how that backup utility works, but all that CinemaVision needs to be able to function is a path to the files, and the files correctly scraped into the database. As long as you're restoring the files to the same path on a different computer, and you copy your script.cinemavision directories over to the other computer, you should find that it just works.
