Trailer Loading screen

Question

I'm trying to convert my cinema experience to cinemavision and it's going great except for one small issue.  If I read correctly there is no option to download trailers as in cinema experience, correct?

My issue is that when it's set to stream trailers, before the trailer starts there is a loading/buffer screen that comes up that has all the info about the trailer (MQ6 skin).  This sorta bothers me, I don't mind it buffering, but I'd rather not see all the info of the upcoming trailer (It spoils the fun and excitement about what trailer is coming next)  Is there a way to turn of this loading screen?

Thanks for the help!

if you read the general forum thread i got rid of all that crap via skinning.

my problem mow though is that i dont get up any markers or bars when i fast forward in a movie. but atleast thats better than having loading buffering and other things happening on screen.

i have mq5 but id imagine its similar with mq6

Easy enough, that's what I had to do with cinema experience and it worked great.  I can for sure deal with the pause screen for the time being but that's a great feature I will be waiting for!  Thanks!!!

Another question! This worked great but now when I pause the movie nothing comes up.  I liked the menu coming up there because it had all the info and especially how much time was left in the movie.  Is there any way to turn that feature back on but still keep the loading on trailers off?

Thanks again!

Unfortunately, no. The buffering screen in Kodi is the same screen used to display information on pause. Disabling one, disables the other. Kodi will likely not change that, but we are planning on adding an option that starts downloading trailers in the background so you may be able to avoid any buffering issues depending on your internet connection. That feature will be added early into the second round of development.

I had thought the plan was for CinemaVision to make a provision for locally storing trailers? For those of us on crappy connections, streaming just means sub-par trailers and it's all a big headache. I very much liked the way CinemaExperience handled this, and I was holding on for CV to replicate it, as had been intimated earlier in other threads.

Is the plan now to never allow for locally stored trailers? If so I might need to rewind my installation and go back to Gotham and Cinema Experience (which I'd rather not do).
