Sequence by time?

I don't know if there's already an option that's available or maybe planned for the future, but I don't currently use the trivia slides or anything like that.  We sit down, start the sequence which runs trailers, bumpers then the movie.  I'd be more likely to use trivia or slideshows if there's an option of starting the sequence, then at a set time maybe using the system clock, continue the sequence.  I wouldn't mind leaving the trivia running for 5 or ten minutes prior to when we would actually sit down.

you can set the trivia anywhere in the sequence (but ok not using the system cloc) but anyway set the trivia in the middle of the sequence, and have it for a time (you set the time in the trivia settings).

Thinking on it more, it's probably not feasible without modifying the sequence every time.  Basically I was wanting to be able to set specific actions in the sequence file based off system time.

There are plans for a full-on scheduler built into the CinemaVision Service Add-on. You'll be able to set up specific times to start your sequences with a specific movie. We also have plans to add a button to skip directly to the feature from any module in your sequence.

I second this.

We want to know if you can add a TIMED EVENT to the trivia.

Movie Plays, and ends...Trivia starts, and goes until the next quarter (xx:15, xx:30, xx:45, xx:00)...Then the next thing in the sequence starts.

 

Of course, if the movie ends with say 5 or less minutes to the next quarter (xx:30), it would skip to the quarter after that (xx:45), allowing time for everyone to get up and do whatever they want between movies, and still get back to enjoy some of the slides.
