Trailers

Recommended Posts

Hello again :)

Quick question, Cinema vision keeps showing me trailers for movies in my library, I would rather it didn't do that, If it's in my library I'll eventually watch it. I would like to only see trailers for movies I don't have is there a setting I can change so it does that?

Thanks,

Angel

Sure is. All you need to do is disable the Kodi DB scraper and you're in business. You can either do this at the module level or globally.

To enable and disable scrapers globally:

  1. Open the CinemaVision Add-on Configuration
  2. Scroll down to the Trailers menu
  3. Press the Right Arrow key on your keyboard to navigate into the Trailers menu
  4. Scroll down to the Source content filter (scrapers) option
  5. Press the Enter key on your keyboard and wait for the dialog to pop up
  6. Scroll to the scraper that you want to disable
  7. Press the Left Arrow key on your keyboard to select the Toggle button
  8. Press the Enter key on your keyboard to Enable or Disable the scrapers
  9. Press the Right Arrow key on your keyboard and select the OK button

To enable and disable scrapers in the Trailers Module:

  1. Launch the CinemaVision Add-on to open the Sequence Editor
  2. Edit the Trailers Module in your Sequence
  3. Select the Scrapers filter (scrapers) option
  4. Press the Enter key on your keyboard and wait for the dialog to pop up
  5. Scroll to the scraper that you want to disable
  6. Press the Left Arrow key on your keyboard to select the Toggle button
  7. Press the Enter key on your keyboard to Enable or Disable the scrapers
  8. Press the Right Arrow key on your keyboard and select the OK button
  9. Save your Sequence

Is there a way to direct it to look for downloaded trailers?  I've downloaded trailers for movies that haven't been released yet and I would like those to be included.

Right now, you can accomplish this by pointing to a specific directory but we currently have no way to scrape in the genre or rating data for those trailers. We plan to add functionality for scraping downloaded trailers into the CinemaVision database with that information intact in a future release.
