Marvel Movie Slides (WIP)

Recommended Posts

I started working my way through my Marvel movie collection, putting together packs for each movie. I've tried to put together between 20-30 slides per movie (depending on what I could find for each). So far I've finished packs for each of the movies from the X-Men franchise, which have already been uploaded here.

Nothing too fancy, just some trivia that I was able to find on IMDB and a couple of other sites.

I'm just finishing up on the Spider-Man movies, as well as the Incredible Hulk, and will upload them once they are done. I'm only going to be focusing on movies that are in my collection, but thankfully the only Marvel movie I'm missing right now is the new Fantastic 4 (which I'm sure I'll buy long before I get around to doing them).

After that I'll probably start working my way through my other comic book movies, but that's a topic for another thread lol.

Just finished the Spider-Man movies, this time I added some questions as well as trivia about each film. I'll probably go back and do questions for the X-Men files later on down the road.

Spider-Man 2

Spider-Man 3

The Amazing Spider-Man

After seeing how nice some of the sets other people have submitted are I tried to up my game a little bit this time. I've included "Multiple Choice" as well as "Fun Facts" for each set (some more than others, there's a bit of a learning curve going on here lol), and tried to improve on the design element too. Any feedback would be welcome. :)

Due to a variety of issues on my end, I let several spelling errors get through on both the Captain America decks. I'm working on correcting these, and I will uploaded a new version once I'm done. I apologize to anyone who downloaded the ones with spelling errors.

Thanks for the due diligence. I have yet to make a deck w/o a number of grammar errors, all part of the process when writing your own material.

They all look awesome btw

Thanks man, I appreciate the compliment. :) Now that I've done a few of these I think I'm finally starting to find my "style", as far as what works for me aesthetically at least, and I've found these to be a great deal of fun to make.

Just uploaded sets from the two Thor movies.

For those of you who don't like clues with their multiple choice; I followed the traditional a/answer, c/clue, q/question format for the questions, just delete/remove the _c files. I don't care for them myself, but I figured that some people might, and it wasn't that much extra work to include them.

Nice work sir, looking good.

Thank you good sir! I could, and should, say the same to you. :)

I'm going to start working on Ant-Man next, and then it will be on to some of the less popular Marvel movies like Punisher, Ghost Rider, Daredevil, etc.

I do have a question however... When I first started on these, before I even joined the site, I had planned on doing a set for each of the Marvel movies. There is however already a set for Guardians of the Galaxy already on here. Would it be bad form for me to also upload a set for the same movie, or is that something that I should avoid?

I don't want to step on any toes, or get off on the wrong foot by not practicing good forum ettiquet. I haven't gone through the set on here, and have no plans of "ripping them off", but my initial plan was to make a set (for myself) for each of the movies, so I'm just curious what would be the proper course of action in this situation. Not sharing seems like a selfish thing to do, but putting up a similar set also seems like I might not be a good idea.

I say go for it! New content is always good. Ragnarok and I collaborated together to make Guardians of the Galaxy a while ago. I think I can safely speak for him in saying a new spin would be great. But you have the right idea of asking before redoing. Some are more sensitive than others about redoing what's been done. If you'd like the Guardians templates send Ragnarok a message and I'm sure he would be more than happy to send them your way. Keep up the great work my friend :)

I'm with @gamephoenix, do it! I appreciate the thought, but I think having different styles and questions is a good thing. Let me know if you want any of the elements or data from our set.

Been absent for a bit, sorry guys. It's summer time, and I had to get out & enjoy the nice wheather while it's here... winter comes too quick lol.

Anyway, I picked up the new Captain America the other day, and started working on some slides for that. I should have them ready and uploaded in the next couple of days. I just thought I'd give an update and let everybody who's interested know that I didn't abandon the project. :)

Love these trivia slides, keep them coming. thanks

Glad you're enjoying them. :)

Working my way through the terminator movies right now, I'm hoping to have a set for Doctor Strange ready around the time the BluRay/DVD comes out.

I haven't got to enjoy them yet because i've tried everything to get it to work but can't figure it out. But I have enjoyed checking them out. Maybe someday i'll get to use them when I figure it out. I uninstalled kodi because it was pissing me off cause I couldn't figure how to get Cinema vision to work.

Hope that helps!
