Estimate for custom theatre intro?

Recommended Posts

Sorry if this isn't the right place to ask.  Can I get quotes or examples of custom theatre intros?  There's already lots of good ones I seen on youtube, I'd just want to replace it w/ my name - "Dawg Cinema" etc....

Well, there are a few ways to get that done. A good free one is Vipid, if they have something you like. We can also customize any of the video bumpers that you see on the site to fit your needs, but we haven't worked out pricing yet. In looking around online, people are charging anywhere between $200 and $500 for a 10-20 second intro, which I personally think is ludicrous. We can make anything, and generally use templates from VideoHive to build our video bumpers. The downside is, if you want a template that we don't have, we have to pass some of that cost on to you because the licensing isn't cheap, and you usually have to license video and audio. In my experience, that alone averages out to be about $40, so we would likely be between $50 and $100, depending on the cost of licensing, time to build and time to render. If you find a template you're interested in, let us know and we'll draw something up. If we already own the template and don't have to pay for licensing, or are using a free template, the cost drastically decreases. :)

There may also be some on Fiverr that you may like. I've had well over a dozen created there starting at US$5 each. I've uploaded two home theater intros I had done on Fiverr. The "ImpactIntro" is the first intro I had made. I later designed my own "logo" and used it for other intros. See the "Winter1080" intro example.
