More persistent queues

Question

Hi,

I would like to congratulate the team for the great add on. I am using the CV add on and launcher, which are both installed, with an Android TV box.

I am a relative newbie and would like to load and run a separately saved sequence, which would remember the feature list (e.g. 2 named Movies). Currently if I set up and save a sequence and save content, then make a queue and move out of the Kodi segment, e.g. from Movies/CV to Weather and back to Movies/CV, or out of Kodi altogether, then start up CV from add on/play command or context menu/play command running the reloaded saved sequence, the feature queue is non existent and a place marker always appears. I want to set up a sequence in the morning complete with main features, turn off my Droidbox then start CV, load a sequence and update content and just press play, whereupon the complete sequence would run including e.g. 2 Movies. Am I doing something wrong?

Help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the kind words! We work pretty hard on this, so it's always good to get some positive feedback. One thing that you could try is creating a Playlist that includes the movies you want to play in CinemaVision. You would load that Playlist, then run it in CinemaVision using the Sequence you want. As long as the items are in your queue, which happens when you load a playlist, you should be good. If you have trouble, let me know. We've talked about allowing the CinemaVision Launcher to be used on Playlists, but as it sits right now it's only available on Movies. You are of course welcome to modify it to allow for Playlists, but we don't officially support them yet.
