Que a movie to play after features?

Question

Hi,

I think I have the same issue, being that I've set up my pre show within à séquence, however when I select a movie and then click on cinéma vision, then the system plays my pré-show,perfect,but does not automatically play the movie after it, it goes back to the librairy.

Darkacid, do WE have this same issue?

To all , how do we do that? Shall WE insert a command ? À custom one? Becauseby défaut we have only skip and back ...

Thanks for tour support,my guess is that WE are missing something.

Hi,

Well, on my side so far I only used the video bumper from one of my directory, and the Trailer features.

I was talking about a command, thinking that there might be a command which say basically "at the end of the sequence, play the movie".

I don't have a feature module in my sequence.

If you ask that's probably that's where the issue may come from.

Before having you look into it with a log, I will dig a little more that lead.

Would you just indicate how we are supposed to set up the feature, so that the movie display af the end of the pre show ?

Thanks.

Guillaume

That right there is your problem. :) If you don't have a Feature Module in your Sequence, CinemaVision won't play your movie. There should be an error that pops up when you try to save your Sequence without a Feature Module. All you should need to do is slap a Feature Module at the very end of your Sequence and you'll be good. If you want your Sequence to process multiple features, that's where the Command Module comes into play. If you want to set your Sequence up for multiple queued features, put a Command Module after your Feature Module and set it to go Back to whatever spot in your sequence you choose on the condition that the feature queue is full.

Are you using CinemaVision with content that's been scraped into your Kodi library, or a streaming add-on? Do you have a Feature Module in your Sequence? Can you post a log for us to review?

The only commands currently available to the Command Module are Skip and Back. We'll be adding more in future releases, but I'm not sure they'll do what you're looking to do. What kind of custom command are you looking to execute?

Hey,

Juste did it and it works fine now.

Though, I notice that, in order to make it work, I need to have something added after the feature in the sequence, otherwise, it errors...

Is it usual/normal? Can't the feature just be the end of the sequence ? It is not an issue, I put whatever after but just asking...

Thanks.

Good to hear! A Feature Module can absolutely be the end of a Sequence, and it should just exit to your library when the Sequence finishes. The error you're seeing might be related to a service you have installed, like Next Up. We've seen that before. I'll need a log from you to tell you what's up, though. I just tested it on my system (with very little installed) and it works like a champ.
