Cinema vision with Android devices

Question

Hi there,

I was wondering if cinema vision is designed to work normally on android devices or more generally with tabs.

There are a couple of issues that I have with my two android tabs:

- despite I have my personal sequence set as default and is recognized when launched from a movie, when I hit run in the addon, it launches the default sequence. So I can't edit my my sequence.

- on the sequence edit screen I have difficulties to navigate in the sequence.

-  on the sequence edit screen I didn't find how to make the context menu appears ...

That's all for me.

Thanks

Guillaume

CinemaVision should work with anything that can run Kodi normally. We've got a bunch of Android users on devices like Shields and various tablets. When you load the Sequence Editor, it defaults to the [2D Default] sequence that comes with CinemaVision. If you created another Sequence on another machine, you'll need to load that Sequence in the editor. It will then default to whatever the last loaded Sequence was when you open the editor. To load a Sequence open the Sequence Editor, then press C on your keyboard. Choose Load there, then browse to the directory your Sequence is in. I don't personally have a tablet, so I'm not sure how you get to the keyboard or context menu on touch devices. I'd imagine (if your skin supports touch interfaces) that you swipe from left or right, tap once with two fingers, or long press. Hope all that helps!

Here's a list of some of the better skins for touch devices:

Hi,

Neither of those actions worked, I can't neither access the keyboard to hit C...

Here is an odd thing you can probably help me with : I tried to install all the skin you mentioned and they all error "dependency with xbmc.GUI not satisfied". What does it mean?

I tried with the skin retouched that I installed a few month ago and that is also nice for tab, but the issue is the same...

Thanks

Guillaume

Yeah I'm not sure then. Maybe someone on the Kodi forums can point you in the right direction in regards to the errors you're seeing with installing skins and how to bring up the context menu.
