What could I be doing wrong here because when I select the "C" button on my keyboard at this point, the "New Sequence" windows/option does not come up?

Hey there! Sorry I missed you in chat, I heard the chime and 4 people came to my desk as if on queue. So what you should see when you hit the key for your context menu is this menu:

Sequence Options.png

When you're in your library and you hit the key for your context menu, do you see the context menu pop up there? Is it possible that your context menu key  was remapped to another key? Here's a wiki article that explains the Kodi Keymap, and here's another wiki article that outlines Kodi Keyboard Controls. If your context menu key wasn't remapped, enable Kodi debug logging and debug logging in the CinemaVision settings, then do the following:

  1. Open your movie library.
  2. Select a movie.
  3. Press C to bring up the context menu.
  4. If a context menu appears, press Esc to back out to Home.
  5. Run the CinemaVision Sequence Editor.
  6. Press C to bring up the Sequence Options menu.
  7. Upload your log for us to review following the steps in the guide below.

Let me know how it goes!

Thanks for the quick response.

I did create a keyboard.xml file that might have re-assigned the "C" on the keyboard in order to program my Harmony remote to Kodi.

I'm at work too so I will check it out tonight.

If that is the solution then you hit that fix like a laser beam!!  Immediately you knew the issue if that is the problem. Wow!

Also I do have the CinemaVision "Launcher" installed and in "Enabled" mode in my Kodi Add-ons ( I say this because that image your posted in your response looks like a CinemanVision "Launcher" type of window.)

I hope thats it, mostly because I have no idea what else it could be and that makes fixing it more difficult. :D The Sequence Options menu is actually built right into the Sequence Editor. All the CinemaVision Launcher does is add a context menu item to the context menu on specific types of media in your library, and it's not really tied in to the main add-on to avoid issues and make the add-on available and usable to folks running older versions of Kodi that didnt support context menu add-ons.

All that said, you shouldn't have to remap anything if you have it set to a button on your Harmony. Don't quote me on this, but I think you can add two keys to the same function in your keymap.xml file. Here's an example of doing that with the keyboard:

<keymap>
	<fullscreenvideo>
		<keyboard>
			<enter>PlayPause</enter>
			<return>PlayPause</return>
		</keyboard>
	</fullscreenvideo>
</keymap>

If that's the case, you just need to add the keyboard command to map C to the context menu alongsize your Harmony key. You can either do that or just use the Harmony to bring up the context menu. :)
