Are there issues with Trivia Slides on a 2.35:1 Aspect Ratio screen?

Recommended Posts

I have not yet completely setup CinemaVision on my 2.35:1 scope screen yet, but I read on one of these posts that one guy had issues with the Trivia Slides not lining up (top and bottom of the slides were too far above and below the screen). Is that the case? I know that there is a Kodi Skin (Aeon Noxs)  Skin MOD - ScopeNox - Aeon Nox for 2.35/Scope Projector Screens (Zoomed CIH) that is made for 2.35:1 scope screens but it is not listed as one of the skins compatible with CinemaVision.  I know Kodi has a "zoom" feature but are the Trivia Slides 16:9 aspect ratio?

Edit:  Aeon Scopenox IS on the list of compatible skins that works with Cinemavision. My bad.

So skins that are 'compatible' will work with CinemaVision. The only thing they lack is integration (a CinemaVision button on the Movie Information screen), which you essentially get via context menu with the CinemaVision Launcher installed anyway.  Now, as far as Trivia Slides in Scope, I'm not really sure what we can do there. All of our Trivia Slide content currently exists in 1920x1080, which would look either zoomed or stretched on a Scope screen. I'll talk to our developer and see if there's something we can do to emulate Scope somehow.

Fun fact, in the CinemaVision settings you can change the add-on to display the Sequence Editor and Queue Dialog in Scope. We did add that in, but I guess we never thought about Trivia Slides. :)
