Check Apect ratio?

Hello,

sry for my bad English.

I try to automate my projection Screen to switch between 16:9 and 21:9.

i have an JMB Lightmanager Air zu control my screen, it work good.

Simple Push on one button and it switches from 16:9 to 21:9.

The Lightmanager Air can handle commands over http, I think that is not the Problem.

but can i configure the Kodi cinemavision addon to send commands by the Movie Fomat?

Hey there! We have plans to include aspect ratio (and some other things) into the Commands Module, so you will be able to play specific bumpers or run specific  actions based on aspect ratio very easily in the future. We plan to add those features in during our next round of development which will begin soon. Currently, you would have to write a Python script that queries Kodi to find the aspect ratio of your feature presentation, and then sends the command to your Lightmanager Air accordingly. You could then call that script via the Action Module.

Is this still something this still being planned to be integrated in CV in the future?

I would love to see aspect ratios integrated into CV, but I don't think it will happen. ☹️
