Change sequence depending on content?

Hello, is there any way to change the sequence depends on the type of content you are watching. For example. I do not want to have trailers, etc. when I watch TV-series but still wants cinemavision to manage my Philips hues. But when I see movies I want to have trailers and more. I only find that you can do this for 2d and 3d.

Currently, no. The only Sequences that can be set right now are for 2D and 3D. There are plans to completely open this up in the next round of development so that you can choose to play specific sequences based on data in your library. For example, if it's a television show, if the studio is Marvel, if the genre is Horror, etc.

We are very close. We're just waiting on our developer to finish up his other commitments. It'll start in way less time than a year.

Cool.  I'd like to change up the preshow bumpers depending on the rating of the feature as well.  It's similar to the original question.  Is this also going to be an option?

The plan is to allow you to use all of the information that exists in the Kodi library. That does include ratings.

Any new developments on this topic?  I played around with CV when this first came out and took a bit of a break from it because of ... Life, i guess.  Now I've had some time to fine tune it.  Still love the product and am impressed on how far it has come.  I am interested in having different sequences that play certain bumpers based on the season.  Ex... play the Halloween pack during that time of year or a christmas theme (trivia, bumpers etc).  I like the idea of playing only marvel, star wars, Disney trivia if you're about to watch a marvel, star wars or Disney movie.  Is any of this possible now....or will it be soon?

I thought I read early on when this project started that this would be a feature.

Sure is, our developer started writing the code for this yesterday after we brainstormed the feature and how it should work. We want it to be as smart as possible so it requires little to no input from the user if there's a conflict, so we're also going to include a way to prioritize the Sequences. Say for example you have a Sequence built that runs if the Studio is Marvel, and another Sequence that will run if the Director is Jon Favreau. If you pick Iron Man as your Feature Presentation, both of those Sequences will trigger. We had to figure out how to address situations like that.

Once we finish fleshing out this new feature, we'll add the ability to specify a directory for Trivia Slides. As for playing specific things during a specific season, that's something that we'll likely add in as well. It's on the list, and so is the ability to import/export these custom Sequence configurations so people can share them if they want to.
