What are you currently working on?

Recommended Posts

Figured I'd start a thread to let people tell everyone what their up to. Feel free to post what project your currently working on with any sort of details you'd like to share.

Myself, I just finished with the Casino Royale Cinemagraphic posters and fan art. I've literally just started my next project which is a set of Trivia Slides for The 2016 movie, Jungle Book. It usually takes me around a month to finish a trivia deck, so look for it to be released late September or early October 2016.

You mean in general or for CV?  In general, I've been planning on building my riser for my second row.  I've got a model drawn up in Sketchup and should be able to start it this weekend.

Post up some pics of the process! I'm sure some folks would love to see the behind the scenes.

I took a break for the summer, but I'm still working my way through doing slides for the Marvel movies. I'm currently working on a set for Captain America: Civil War, and then I'll probably do Ant Man, Deadpool, and the new X-Men movie as far as "new releases", then it's back to working my way through some of the older titles I haven't gotten around to yet.

Lots of other movies/franchises I'd like to do as well (some of which have been done by others recently, so I'll just sit back and enjoy those lol), but man Marvel has such a LARGE catalog I don't know if I'll ever get them done.

This thread is a GREAT idea! I know it's supposed to be for "anything CV", but it's a good way for everybody who's working on stuff to post what they're doing so as to keep duplication to a minimum. When I was part of the "photo staff" for another site we used to keep a thread for everybody to post our current projects in so that we wouldn't end up working on the same things, and duplicating each others work. It also gave us a chance to communicate with each other, and if one of us had more free time to work on something, we could ask if someone minded if we picked up something off of their list to ease their load.

The foot rests are a nice touch. Can't wait to see the finished room!

Just have to install the remaining speakers and then add the room treatments.  Hopefully I'll be done by Christmas.

Chairs installed.

Love the color, great work OTA were all envious.

Now that I finished my After Effects basic training I'm making a visual database of all the pre-set adjustable drag and drop animations After Effects comes installed with which is massive. I finished all the Text Animations and put up a guide with downloadable samples. More sections to come in this field...

Just finishing up slides for the Terminator movies, think I'm going to try delving into some of the home automation stuff. I've got two smaller TV's that I use as movie poster displays, I want to see if there's a way to get Kodi/CV to call out to the Raspberry Pi's I have running them to dim/blank the display when something is playing... this should be fun, I have no idea where to even start for that one *smh*

Sorry everyone Star Trek Beyond slides have been taking longer than expected. Templates have been created, the film has been notated and I'm about half done with writing up the questions. Probably another 2 weeks if I had to guess.

On another note I've decided to get into shape and am at the halfway mark on this 8 week program.

Just finished Star Trek Beyond trivia slides. They should be up by the end of the weekend. I also completed the beginner work out plan and move on to Arnold Schwarzenegger's Blueprint to Cut. And let me tell you, Arnold doesn't mess around, these new workouts are kicking my ass :P

Starting my next trivia slide project,  Disney's animated movie, The Jungle Book (1967). I've always said I'd never do cartoons, but figured we need more CV branded family oriented content. I'll be working primarily on Disney animated classic titles between keeping up on the series I've done in the past as new sequels come out i.e. Star Wars, Underworld etc.

Nice

I'm hoping to get started on some Rom-Coms as soon as I can figure out which ones I can stand to watch the 2-3 times it takes to do a deck

Had a family emergency that prevented me working on slides for the past 6 weeks or so. Things are settling down a bit so I can start working again. I'm going to put Pinocchio on the back burner for now since since there are a few new movie series squeals out that I've been keeping up with slides on in the past, namely Star Wars and Underworld. So I'm starting work tonight on Star Wars: Rouge One. Since things are still a bit crazy I can't predict a release date.

Now that Rogue One is complete I've started work on Underworld: Blood Was. I'm hoping to have it done in a couple weeks, then I'll be moving on to the Jason Bourne series.

Your slides are really nice and professional. Thank you.

Been a while but I started working on Star Wars: Last Jedi. I don't have the kind of free time I used to so it may take a while. In the mean time I did upload some Force Awaken Triavia Movies I put together a while ago. They have some nice music with custome transitions.
