Getting prepaired

Recommended Posts

Well I will start off by saying I am extremely excited about CinemaVision. I have tried many times unsuccessfully to get Cinema Experience to work only to realize support stopped in the XBMC days for it. I am hoping to get some guidance to prepare me and my system for the launch of CinemaVision. Beyond downloading support files is there anything that will help me get started (i.e. setting up file tree, renaming files. ect.)  If so any pro tips would be greatly appreciated.

This will setup your file tree (also, love the way the forum is displaying my link)

Oh Thanks! I actually just came across that. I like the way links are posted as well, so I thought I would Check out a Quote as well. :P This must be how my kids feel when I let them lose in my car (what button can I push next)

Keep in mind that the TreeBuilder tool is specifically for Cinema Experience, and not the CinemaVision add-on. CinemaVision uses a different directory structure that is created by the add-on on first run, so you don't have much work to do. Before launch I'll probably put together a script that migrates your content from Cinema Experience directories to CinemaVision directories, or you all can drag and drop by hand. You don't need to rename files as far as we know - but we're still developing features so filename tags might be something we include if you want to use them.

I am sooo excited by this project! This add-on was my fav to use with Kodi by far!

Just wait until you see what CinemaVision can do.

I can't tell you how excited we are... I mean, I could. But I wont.
