Problem with Kodi menu in background while playing movie

Question

Hi,

first I want to thank you for this great addon! It works great for me with Openelec and Kodi 16.1.

But I still have a problem.  Normally when I am watching a movie and press "back" on my mce remote the Kodi menu appears. I can scroll through the menu while the movie plays in background.

When I start the movie with Cinemavision and press "back", the movie stops playing and I am back in the menu of Kodi. Is there a way to keep the movie playing?

Thank you in advance !

Hey ,

i am using an Odroid C2 with built in infrared. I didn't change anything regarding the ir. It is the left arrow button on the remote. It is the same with a logitech keyboard connected to the odroid pressing the backspace key.  There is one video bumper (one local video file) running before the movie starts.  The sequence is very simple V -- F.  Also the video file before the movie stops playing when pressing backspace/back.

Give the new version from the repository a shot and let me know how it goes. You'll want to make sure that your back button is bound to Backspace and not Esc. If it's bound to Esc, it will take you all the way back to the Kodi menu and stop the movie.

Hey there! You're very welcome, really glad you're enjoying it! A few questions for you... What key is the back button on your MCE remote bound to in Kodi? Are you pressing the back button during the feature presentation, or during the rest of your Sequence?
