Add a nfs location for trailers

Question

Hi

I basically only want to have trailers before the movie. As the internet connection is a bit slow, I want to load the trailers from a nfs location. Unfortunately, I can only select 'external' and 'internal' location, but not a nfs media. I'm running Kodi on an Android Nvidia Shield device.

Is that somehow possible?

Thanks & regards

Hey there! So CinemaVision doesn't care where the content is located at all. You will need to make sure that your NFS share is added as a source in the Kodi File Manager. Depending on what's serving up the NFS share, you may have some work to do. Here's what the Kodi Wiki has to say about NFS. What are you using to serve the share? You might also be running into a bug we identified, but haven't yet fixed. That should be coming soon. If you can, post a debug log for us to review.

Hi

Yes, I have the nfs share mounted in Kodi as I can use it as a source for movies. But for the trailers I only have the option to use internal and external, but no nfs. I use a Synology NAS as a nfs share.

I will check the debug log. Thanks.

Regards

Now, I was able to add the nfs share as a directory for the trailers. I'm not sure why, but I wasn't able to do it in the graphical view where I can set the trivia, trailers, etc. I had to do it in the settings menu.

thanks for the help.

Interesting... I'll add that to our list of possible bugs and we'll see about getting it narrowed down and squashed. Thanks for the info!
