Trivia and Trailers play just fine, but then I'm left at a black screen..

Question

Hi guys! I'm really new to using addons with Kodi, as well as new to the whole CV experience. I want to become a paid member, but I just want to make sure I'm able to run this properly first haha. So my problem is after setting up CV, I can click to play a movie using CV but it will only get as far as the trailers, and then I'm stuck at a black screen. I tried each movie on it's own to make sure it works, and they work just fine. I'm not sure what type of information I should be putting down here in order for you guys to know whats wrong, like I said - I'm pretty clueless haha sorry! I'm on Kodi Krypton on a Fire TV with a No Limits Magic build..

Thank you!

Hey there! So a few things could be causing that issue. First, lets make sure we didn't miss any steps setting up CinemaVision by following this guide:

It's possible that the issue you're seeing will be fixed with a content update, which you have to do whenever you add content so that CinemaVision knows it exists. That includes new videos, trivia, trailers, etc. from any source, streaming and local. It could also be that your source, if streaming, doesn't have any trailers that match criteria you've set. Try turning off the Match feature... settings in the Trailers Module. If none of that works, we'll need to see a debug log. You can generate that by following this guide:

Hopefully all of this helps either fix the issue, or points us in the right direction.
