Anyway to turn off the Social feature?

Is there anyway to turn off the "social" feature of this site, on mobile as well on the desktop its really annoying to get the "Facebook, twitter, google+, etc" bar showing up EVERY time you select a new page.  Yes I can click the > button but even then the bar is over something I'm trying to read and the second I goto another page, its pops up again.

I looked in My Account to see if there was an option to disable it.....I don't know if I'm looking in the right place, but it would be great if the follow us links were at the top of the page or at the bottom, but not following me everywhere I went.
