How to Add Items to the Queue


This guide will teach you how to add items to the Kodi queue.

The Big Picture

At the end of this guide, you will be able to add Items to your Kodi Queue. There are several ways to accomplish queuing Items depending on how you've set up your environment. We'll try to cover as many as possible, but if we leave yours out please let us know so we can add your use case to this guide.

Add Items to the Kodi Queue

Using a Keyboard

  1. Focus on the Item that you want to add to your Queue.
  2. Press the Q key on your keyboard to queue the Item, or you can press the C key on your keyboard to bring up your Context Menu and select the Queue item option.

Using a Remote Control

  1. Focus on the Item that you want to add to your Queue.
  2. Press the button on your remote control that you assigned to open your Context Menu.
  3. Select the Queue item option from the Context Menu.

Using the Kore Remote Control

  1. In Kore, browse to the Item that you want to add to your Queue.
  2. Press the KoreCMButton.png button on the screen to open the Context Menu.
  3. Select the Queue item option from the Context Menu.

Using the Yatse Remote Control

  1. In Yatse, select the Item that you want to add to your Queue.

View Items in the Kodi Queue

Using a Keyboard

  1. Press the N key on your keyboard to show your current Playlist which contains all of the items in your Kodi Queue.

Using the CinemaVision Launcher

  1. Open the CinemaVision Settings.
  2. Select the Playback menu item.
  3. Ensure that the Hide queue editor setting is not enabled if you want the Queue Dialog to show each time you start a CinemaVision Sequence.
  4. Ensure that the Hide queue editor setting is enabled, and the If only one item queued setting is enabled if you want to bypass the Queue Dialog each time you start a CinemaVision Sequence with only one item in queue.
  5. Press the C key on your keyboard to bring up your Context Menu and select the CinemaVision option.
