  1. I'm pretty sure there is some throttling going on at the iTunes site (or by their CDN) for .mov versions of the files (which per the movies pages are for download use) - hence they don't stream well. For each trailer there is an alternate .m4v file designed for streaming which does not show this limitation, but they only go up to 720p in size. The iTunes trailer scraper in Cinemavision does reference this file ('SrcAlt") field in the JSON but I can't get the scraper to actually use it. iTunes trailers was a bigger seller for me of CinemaVision, so at the moment i'm not using it much. There has been talk of other scrapers, I think that is long term the only fix. Perhaps the dev team could look at https://www.traileraddict.com/trailerapi which provides an API for this purpose.
  2. Hi Ragnarok - I've actually been having issues with iTunes trailers since moving to the Dev version. Basically the scrape doesn't find any! When i dig into the code a bit there seems to be some path differences now where the base path isn't always right (there is an extra /trailers/ level). If i do manage to get a trailer to display it tends to hang - and this seems to be because by default i'm getting the 'download' / Src version i.e. .mov which download very slowly (even through a browswer) - rather than the 'stream' / SrcAlt version i.e. m4v. I'm on a 200mbs connection - so pure bandwidth isn't an issue. Whether this is some how specific to NZ i'm not sure! But would be great to understand a bit further whether everyone else is definitely working! Any thoughts. The debug logs don't show anything other than scraping from iTunes - 0 trailers found.
  3. Ok will do - will be sometime next week - then I will report back! :-)
  4. The bumper is the coming soon message from the link above. I use SPMC rather than Kodi direct (due to Kodi devs not having anyone focused on Android) which is based off Kodi 16.1 though i believe - see spmc.semperpax.com The only other addon really is Emby. I won't be in a position to upload a full debug log til next week - but will do! My gut instinct at the moment is its related to passthrough of stereo AC3, but still very odd that the file works fine under normal playing conditions, only has the problem when in a CinemaVision sequence. As noted above - once i re-encoded the file to use AAC which isn't bitstreamed out - works fine.
  5. So I re-enconded the bumper to use AAC rather than dolby digital and it works without issue. So its bitstream passthrough causing the problem at that particular point. My audio bumpers are all AC3, DTS, DTS-HD, TRUE-HD format and passthrough without issue which seems odd.
  6. Sorry - should have read that. Log file showing a Cinema Vision run attached - I aborted playback at the point the bumper stopped. Can see lots of Passthrough and Buffer errors while trying to play that bumper. failed-bumper-log.txt
  7. I have an interesting issue with Cinema Vision after I completely reinstalled my SPMC build on an Nvidia Shield. I'm using 1.0.12a1 dev build of Cinema Vision because I've had issue with crashes without. I have a fairly simple sequence that plays a Theater Intro, Coming Soon Bumper, Trailer, Audio Bumper, Movie. Both the Theater Intro Bumper and Coming Soon Bumper are directly selected files rather than random. When the sequence plays, the Theater Intro plays fine, but the Coming Soon Bumper starts without sound and then after 2 - 3 seconds starts to lag and finally stops completely at about 5 seconds. I can skip it from the remote and the sequence moves on. All of the other components play fine without issue. It doesn't seem to matter which of the Coming Soon bumpers I pick (downloads from this site). However if i play them directly from file manager they play perfectly well. What is also odd is my previous setup of SPMC with the same addons and setup worked fine all the way through - this only started to happen after the reinstall. Anyone else seen anything similar? Have any ideas on solution?
  8. Ah thanks - it wasn't making much sense to me as to why it was only the kid movies - but if rating related - that would make perfect sense :-) Appreciate the quick answer and awesome work on the addon.
  9. Hey, Loving the addon, such a leap on from cinemaexperience in terms of ease of use! I have one issue that I'm having trouble resolving. I use Emby as my media server, using their Kodi addon to load my content. I use the direct location settings in Emby's addon - so that my Kodi DB has proper direct media paths rather than relative ones via the addon. I also have 2 movie groups one for normal and one for kids setup in Emby. These come over into the Kodi DB tagged appropriately. When i use CinemaVision - for any movie in my normal collection everything works perfectly - in particular a trailer is streamed from itunes. However for all the movies in the kids category, everything except the trailer works. I get the pre trailer video, but then no trailer. If i look at the kodi log - it just seems not to be able to find a trailer : 20:10:00 T:6932 NOTICE: [- CinemaVision -]: Experience: [ -- Started --------------------------------------------------------------- ] 20:10:00 T:6932 NOTICE: [- CinemaVision -] (API): Processing sequence... 20:10:00 T:6932 NOTICE: [- CinemaVision -] (API): Feature count: 1 20:10:00 T:6932 NOTICE: [- CinemaVision -] (API): Ratings: MPAA:G 20:10:00 T:6932 NOTICE: [- CinemaVision -] (API): Genres: Animation 20:10:00 T:6932 NOTICE: [- CinemaVision -] (API): FEATURE [ 'Ooops!
