  1. FYI, if it's the Random Trailers script, I think there is a dev working on a new version of this at https://github.com/fbacher/Kodi-script.video.randomtrailers . You may want to talk with them?
  2. No, it is not compatible with 19.x yet. It is being worked on.
  3. Might want to check out this thread for compatible skins.
  4. Did you get the version you reinstalled from here or the official Kodi Repo. I had trouble with the one in the official Kodi repo, so you might want to try the latest one from here. I'm afraid I don't have the link handy, but you should be able to find it searching the forums.
  5. That, I'm not sure about. For my newer trailers that I'm grabbing myself, I keep those in a separate folder and using the directory option as well. For the trailers I keep, I use the trailers option with those, using the kodi db as the primary source and I make sure I'm naming them properly. I also make sure I have the trailers folder set in Kodi to be a video source for movies so that it gets scanned into the kodi db. I'm not certain, but I think if you do it that way, CV can look at metadata for the trailer to determine genre/rating etc for matching movie rating and genre if you use those options. Seems to work for me. I'm also pretty sure CV will play trailers in the kodi db that aren't in that folder, but I've never tried it, since I don't keep movies in separate folders. Naming scheme for trailers is Movie Title (year)-trailer.ext Tombstone (1993)-Trailer.mp4 Tommy Boy (1995)-Trailer.mp4 No spaces on either side of the hyphen. Hope this is the info you need. I don't use conditional sequences or anything so I'm not a power user like some around here are, but I love the program so I help as much as I can.
  6. Instead of just pressing the button on the movie you want to play in Kodi, long press. It will bring up a context menu. Choose Cinemavision from there, and it will play your sequence using the movie you selected as the 'Feature'.
  7. Try installing this version to see if it helps. Also, if you go to the downloads section of this site, you will find dozens, if not hundreds, of free video bumpers for courtesy, and just about any other kind you'd need. If you want custom bumpers, there are a couple of folks around here who occasionally offer their services for a cost, and I personally have had some done by Priyansh at https://www.priyansh.net/. I also have had problems with Apple Trailers--but the problems appear to be on their end, so I gave up and now I have a youtube downloader program automatically download new trailers from a playlist to my trailers folder.
  8. You can get it from @Ragnarok's link in this thread:
  9. You don't need another PC to create material...this site has a ton of material available for download. Your best bet is to start here: https://cinemavision.tv/guides Just follow the walkthroughs and you'll get the hang of it--I've been using it on my Shields for years now and it works great!
  10. I love this addon...been using it for years, and I don't want to see it go away--do we need more money to continue development for Kodi 19? I'm willing to re-up; I'm sure others are as well!
  11. Is Kodi 19 going to be supported, since they're moving to Python 3, or are we going to have to stick with 18? I know that it's going into beta soon, if not already...anybody tried using CV with it yet?
  12. I've never reported it, but it is the same way with mine. It's a bit of an inconvenience--you have to add the actions folder a s a source in kodi to be able to browse to it. I just assumed that was intended action for some reason. I'd love to have a fix so I can get rid of that as a separate file source.
  13. I also keep all my sequences on an SMB share from a server, so they're accessible to all my boxes.
  14. This happens to me as well.
  15. I've used a Shield with CV for the past few years, and it's handled everything I've thrown at it. Web calls definitely work--I use SmartThings as well to control lights in my sequences.
  16. I've had no problems on 18.6 or 18,7 on Nvidia Shield with this version:
  17. Not sure, but are you looking for this? https://community.smartthings.com/t/release-kodi-xbmc-callback-endpoint-for-light-control/34068/74
  18. I think I'm running the version posted a couple posts down that thread--give it a try. If what you've got isn't working, give it a try.
  19. I running fine on 18.6. Do you know what version of CV you're running? I'm running the latest build from here--can't remember the version number offhand, but it fixed a ton of issues people were having after 18.1.
  20. I just tested for the first time in more than a year, and everything over 720p stops and buffers every few seconds. I actually now have gigabit fiber, so it's definitely not bandwidth on my end. I still use my own solution. I'm not too worried about it. I'm glad there's new development going on after such a long break. Incidentally, if you google 'apple trailers 1080p buffering' you'll see it's pretty much every platform with that problem, including Apple TV. I don't think there's anything CV devs can do about it. It's on Apple's side. I think what I've got going on works better anyway--since I've gone 4k, I grab 4k trailers from youtube using mediahuman, and then I have a script that deletes them once they hit a certain age. If you want details, I'm more than willing to share. I still love you, Matt
  21. From Ragnarok at https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=231881&pid=2944841#pid2944841
  22. Howdy! For the past few months, I've had a problem with Apple Trailers playing the first few seconds, then pauding, slowly buffering for a few minutes then playing out the buffer almost immediately, and on and on until the trailer finishes (a long time when I get 5 or 10 seconds of trailer, then buffer for 2 minutes) or I get POed and skip the trailer. Is this a problem with Apple Trailers itself, or some setting on my end I've fudged? I love you, Matt
