    OFLC Custom Ratings

    Version 1.0.0

    1 download

These OFLC videos can be used in conjunction with my Guide on how to add Custom Ratings/Classification Systems to CinemaVision found here: I did not make any of these videos but there were instead created by Derek McDonald 5 years ago for his own personal home theater. These can be found on YouTube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xsZbAhyXcCU&list=PLZ4Ym5N7tLErQFenUVmLruf2zjnrgWwmR&index=15 I'm reposting this here in the hopes CinemaVision users can benefit from them and these videos can reach a wider audience who will benefit from its intended use as opposed to a YouTube video getting lost to the void. There isn't a bumper for E, nor is there one for CTC because films aren't actually classified as CTC, only trailers are. All videos have been downloaded at the highest quality, and are all based on a (no longer available) VideoHive template found here: https://videohive.net/item/shapes-logo-reveal-intro/8073694

    MTRCB RATINGS - Philippines

    Version 1.0.0

The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (Filipino: Lupon sa Pagrerepaso at Pag-uuri ng Sine at Telebisyon; abbreviated as MTRCB) is the Philippine government agency responsible for the classification and review of television programs, movies and home videos. These videos were requisitioned directly from the MTRCB and are the videos used as of 2016. The files marked with (3DSBS) are 3D Side-by-side versions of the rating cards, for your 3D movies. The following ratings are included in this set: G: General Audience: Ang pelikulang ito ay rated "G" Ito ay puwede salahat ng manonood: Viewers of all ages are admitted. 3. Small request. I'd like to have the ratings video bumper be a seperate module from the feature module. In my setup, I use the adjust refresh rate Kodi setting and I turn it off during all bumpers, but on right before the feature. Well, I still get a flicker/black transition/delay PLUS I see the Kodi play/pause menu overlay during the ratings bumper. If they were pulled apart, I could move that "adjust refresh rate" action closer to the feature and probably avoid this issue! Also, I could then dim my lights or do something different after ratings video...
  4. Hello, CinemaVision is showing "R" rated trailers from he Kodi database on a "G" rated movie. I was able to skip the trailers, but confirmed that it happened twice one movie. Has anyone else had this issue?
  5. Hello, I have tons of locally stored trailers. My question is: if I set CV to restrict trailers by rating so my kids don't see "R" rated materials under a child Kodi account, how will the plugin know what trailers to play? Does it check the database to see the rating of, say, "An Extremely Goofy Movie" and know that the movie is "G" rated, so the trailer is safe to play? What method does it use for determining ratings for streaming trailers? Thanks for any insight you can provide.
  6. I downloaded the mpaa classic rating bumpers, extracted them to the ....cinema_vision\Ratings Bumpers\MPAA folder, the files are not nested in this folder: The other bumpers like the trivia, trailers and audio format are showing up fine when I do the cinema vision launcher. ratings bumpers

Hi all Firstly I'm really pleased to see this work progressing, I like many others I suspect get a real kick out of having friends over, turning on the projector, letting cinema experience run and watching everyone enjoy the experience. For my setup I use CE, have my own downloaded adverts (some cool retro ones), and use most of the functions pertaining to bumpers, ratings, trailers etc, with some retro feature presentation bumpers (think grindhouse) and a trailer bumper I cobbled together myself. For me (I am using Kodi on an ATV1200 running Ember) Cinema experience on the whole works very well.... although i understand this is not the case for everyone. Previously when I was running Kodi on Android CE had all sorts of problems and it has probably taken me more hours than I care to admit to get my setup to the stage it is at now. Anyway! ...to business, my question is that CE currently doesn't to my knowledge recognise BBFC ratings and cannot run the script for the english market. Subsequently I have my films scraped for MPAA and I had to rename my BBFC ratings bumpers to match as close I can the American ratings system. Can you tell me if there are any plans for Cinema Vision to recognise BBFC scraped ratings and will we be able to use the proper BBFC bumper with them? It's the only thing I really think is missing from my current setup..... knowing that mostly the ratings are probably right.... but not necessarily. I know I know.... first world problems.... but it bugs me I'm looking forward to seeing what Cinema Vision offers when it's properly released.... from what I have seen so far it looks a much more user friendly interface than CE so well done! Many thanks for all your efforts on this great project!! Pete
