  4. Hi all, I am a total noob here so my apologies if I am not clear with using the right terminology relating to CinemaVision. I am having an issue with my JVC projector which takes about 10-12 seconds to resync on refresh rate changes. I use the DSplayer Kodi wth MadVR and I have set MadVR to change refresh rates to match the video as this eliminates judder etc. I know that there are events you can create to stop refresh rate changes and turn them back on but to avoid the refresh rate changes I have ensured that all my Theatre intro's and Trailers are the same resolution and refresh rate @ 23.976 (ie the same as the main feature) but for some reason the transition between the sections ie. Theatre intro's - Trailers - Feature causes the projector to have to resync and I end up with a black screen between each one of about 10-12 seconds. This is extremely annoying and basically makes CinemaVision unusable Can you please fix this issue as a matter of urgency? I realise that if there are different refresh rates for different videos that the projector or display device will have to resync but if all the videos (trailers etc.) are the same refresh rate and resolution between each part then surely it can be done without the display losing signal/resyncing? I did read in another topic where Ragnarok said the following: "Chances are it's something to do with the refresh rates then. Are you on a projector or a TV? We use dummy files between videos to give us bookmarks to jump to. We're actively working to change that methodology so we remove some of the refresh rate changes" - this was in January 2016. Please help to fix this issue. Thanks
  5. Hi, I had modified my default sequence to play three trailers. But every time I played a movie using the add on it only played one trailer. It wasn't till I modified the defaults that I was able to get it to play three trailers by setting the count in the trailers section. Thanks TimT UPDATE!!! Fixed: This was due to using Leia rather than Krypton. After installing krypton the problem has ceased.
  6. Hi, I have a Wetek Play with libreelec installed. I had sometimes an issue, where a trailer would just play blind. So I waited for a new release, if the problem will be fixed. Today, the new version was installed. But now I have the problem with every single video in the sequence (trailver, main movie). The video plays blind (black screen) but when I hit pause, the video is visible. Hitting play, then the video will stay visible until the next one in the sequence starts and then same problem again. Starting video directly in Kodi works perfect. But not with cinemavision. I have attached the log file. There are some errors, but they are also present when just playing directly a movie. Thanks for your support. Best Eniwhite Log.txt
  7. Every time I use cinema vision it plays the same 5 or 6 trailers. I don't remeber changing any settings, but maybe I accidentally clicked something
  8. Hi all, I have the DSplayer version of Kodi version 17.1 and I have successfully implemented cinemavision to work pretty much flawlessly with my system which was a struggle as my JVC projector doesn't like refresh rate changes (resulting black screen handshake for 10-12 seconds) and also flashing black/grey screens between sequences due to using madVR DirectX11 10-bit output. You can search this forum for my solution. Anyway..... the final small issue I have at this stage is that although I select 1080p for trailers within cinemavision I only seem to get 720p trailers. Is there a solution for this? I did a search but I couldn't find anything
  9. Hi all, I have installed cinema vision, and I love the idea however something that is very different from cinema experience, which I was using up until yesterday, is that the trailers all come from films I have on my library already. This is pretty pointless if you ask me. I already have the in my database, why would i need to see a trailer for it? Cinema Experience showed me trailers from random upcoming films. How can I get CV to do this? Otherwise I guess I will be going back to CE...
  10. Hi, i have a problem with Local Trailers on my Android device. My downloaded trailers are working on the pc kodi but when i copied then on my phone they aren't working on the kodi app
  11. Hi, Could anyone tell me if they have come across this before? I searched, but to no avail. This is my first attempt at using CV, but after watching videos, reading articles and this forum, I finally got a sequence working perfectly. I absolutely love CV and appreciate all of the thought and effort that went into it so that people like me can create an experience like this without doing any coding. 1) I had the CinemaVision add-on working perfectly without the Trailers module enabled. The Features module was enabled but CV was not launched from within Kodi so the default content placeholder played, and it played correctly. 2) After disabling all of the modules and then enabling the Trailers module alone, no trailers appeared*- only a black screen. 3) After disabling all of the modules and then enabling the Features module alone, launching CV from Video/Files/xyz.ISO, adding it to the queue, and then Play it just goes blank for a second and then returns to the Kodi file selection screen. *Only one time did trailers show up. My log is here: http://pastebin/vEUXjkuL Thank you for any help you can provide. -Phil
  12. Hello, I am no longer able to play trailers from the Kodi database in my sequence. I have not changed the sequence, but somewhere in the upgrade from 1.04 to 1.06, the local trailers stopped playing. The configuration settings and the file sequence both show the Kodi database trailers are enabled, but nothing plays anymore. All other trailers (streaming, video bumpers, audio, and from local folders) are just fine. Is anyone else experiencing this? Thanks.
  13. Hey guys first time poster here. I have been using the CinemaVision addon for a couple of weeks, getting used to and everything works great. Its fantastic. My only concern is I download my movie trailers locally to my hard drive so I get the best quality and also 5.1 sound for certain sites. Every time I run my sequence using my local trailers folder, CV never plays or recognizes them. iTunes trailers work just fine, just not my local trailers. I was using Cinema Experience before using this and all my local trailers played back fine during the script. I also have nfo info on all my trailers in each folder. Is there something I'm doing wrong like a setting or something I'm missing? I rather play my trailers from the hard drive than do iTunes streaming.
