Hopefully this is handy to others. I needed 5 seconds of black to ease in my abrupt theater intro video, 1 & 2 seconds of black for some transitions, and 5 minutes of black to wander over and turn off the projector before the Kodi screen appears. The files are 1080p @ 23.976fps to match most films. For what it's worth, they were encoded x264, 3Mbps, Main@5.1. -

Until you support more ratings, I would like to write a guide on getting any country's rating system to work. What are the image and video file names that CV looks for? If this is known then creating your own rating bumpers and fooling CV into thinking they are known could work. E.g. if CV is looking for the MPAA Restricted video or image and it is looking for, say, "R.png" then you could put any image you like in the folder and call it R.png. Then you rescan your library to the MPAA rating (if it is currently another country's rating system), and Bob's your uncle.

Hi! Great job on this! I know others have asked this but I'm not finding any answer. If I want to play a short film before the movie that is stored somewhere other then my CV folder, how do I do that? I have tried using the "Directory" option in Video Bumpers and chosen the correct path but it just skips it when I go through my sequence. I'd like it to play one of my Looney Tunes cartoons that are stored on another connected drive (although already scraped and integrated into Kodi). Could the problem be that they aren't all in the same folders? Thanks!

Included in this pack: Two HD "Coming Soon" video bumpers with leveled SFX. Notes: Video - 1080p, 23.976fps, H.264, Two-Pass VBR (12Mbps average) Audio - 320Kbps, -4dB peak, -12dB average Sound Design on the "Smoke" version was done by me using 8 layers of SFX. It's my first attempt at bumper audio and it turned out rather sinister. Let me know what you think! Picture for this version used elements from Morocco Tutorials on YouTube & Beachfront B-Roll.
